AskHigher turns your role, location, experience, and current salary into a benchmark-grounded market range, a likely gap, and a tailored raise script. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it — written plainly on purpose.
What we collect
- Estimate inputs — your role, location, years of experience, and current base salary, entered on the estimate form.
- Account details — if you create a free account, your email address, used to send a magic sign-in link.
- Your saved work — with an account, the estimates and raise scripts you generate are saved so you can return to them.
- Usage analytics — privacy-conscious product analytics (e.g. which pages you visit, when an estimate is generated) to understand and improve the experience.
How we use it
- Your estimate inputs are sent to our AI provider to generate your market range and raise script.
- Without an account, your salary input is not stored — it’s used to compute your gap in the moment, then discarded.
- With an account, we store your estimates and scripts so they’re there when you come back.
- Aggregate analytics help us see where the product works and where it doesn’t.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal data.
- We don’t take payments or store card details — AskHigher is free during this phase.
- We don’t share your individual salary with employers or other third parties.
Who processes your data
We rely on a few trusted providers to run the product: an AI provider (to generate estimates and scripts), a database and authentication provider (to store your account and saved work), and a product-analytics provider (to measure usage). Each processes data only to provide its part of the service.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your account and saved data at any time, and we’ll remove it.
